12th Week

This week I made a new page for TheOrangeBox. I made their quiz, and members page.
Quiz page was hard to do because there were many links to locate, even on the paganiation of the Quiz page, plus I cut the images from the psd file that PJ gave to me. The put the images on each item of the quiz.

Then on the members page I made the home, blogs and how to's page of the members site.
On TheOrangeBox page I made the Orangezine page, It's like their magazine online.

11th Week

I finished the other pages of TheOrangeBox like the How It Works, Consultant and Expert advice page. It was easy for me to finish the how it works because its contents are just few. The hard part was the Consultant and Expert advice page, I had to make an I frame to navigate to many pages. And lastly, I linked every pages.

 

10th week

This week I started doing the TheOrangeBox I think Its an online shopping website that has many features about grooming. I did the homepage and the non members page this week.

Then we attended the Job fair at the SMX Convention Center.  There were exhibits and the job fair.

9th week

This week, we participated the seminar Y4IT as required for us to attend the seminar at UP Diliman. Then did nothing too much at the office, just some minor revisions, figuring out how to make the progress bar work.

8th week

Me and my co-worker Gladys were fixing some of the extra spaces on the MyPromo Spotlight.
We were omitting the extra spaces for different window sizes. And we did some revisions on styles.

 

7th week :D

Finished working on MyPromo Spotlight Vote And Buy Now page.

6th Week

I finished MyPromo Deals and I'm going to start the MyPromo Spotlight. My co-worker PJ sent me the PSD and JPEG files and sliced the necessary images to be used on MyPromo Spotlight.

Fifth Week

(5th week)

On my 5th week I just made some updates on my work, MyPromo Deals and enhanced the style of the site, and I test it on different browsers.

The last day of the work I finished the MyPromo Deals, and I started working on My Promo Spotlight.

I can't go to work the whole week because of the heavy rain and the flood caused by the "habagat".

Third week of our work

(3RD Week)

On the third week of my work, I continued what my boss assigned to me, I continued the MyPromo Deals from the body of the page to the footer of the page, and I made some adjustments on the images that I used. And in the last two days of the weekdays is the Science and Technology Week. I just participated on the event. We are obligated to take care of the booth that whole Thursday and Friday. Friday night we attended the Science and Technology Night to have some party.

(2nd week)

On the second week of my internship I did the My promo Ads buyer page.
There are a lot of revisions, about 3 times revisions because of changing the logo's and pictures to use on the website. Then after I finished My Promo Ads buyer page, I started making the html/css of the My Promo Deals page. I just finish just the half of the My Promo Deals page within the end of the day/week.

First five days

My first five days on internship

(1st week)

The first day me and my co-workers Gladys Raquel and Chrzel Patulot did our boss, Ms. Imee instructions to us, Ms. Imee assign me to be a web developer/programmer. We're making a website like www.sulit.com.ph.

The website is MyPromoAds. I was assigned to make their homepage and buyers page. First, I observed the webpage where to assign div tags. Then I just made the html first. Then some problems occurred but we fixed it with the help of our junior IT Mr. Aldrin. Ms. Imee and Mr. Aldrin is checking our work before we leave our work everyday.

Why it's more fun in C.E.U.?

There are many schools, colleges and universities here in Philippines, but what makes them different? What makes them differ from each other is their building structures, the vicinity of the school, the kind of students they have, the quality of the education of school gives and more. Some people compare them by the structures of the building, or compare them by the quality of education of the school can give. But for me of course I want a school that can give all the knowledge that I need to learn and at the same time its fun.

I am currently studying at Centro Escolar University and taking up information technology. I can say that Centro Escolar University is not that cool school, or have the best structure, but I believe that it is one of the finest university in the Philippines.

Based on my experiences, Centro Escolar University is a safe place except when there are riots on Mendiola road. Centro Escolar University is near to the Malacañang Palace where the president of the Philippines is always inside or whatever, so there are many riots there, but we have this thing called The Peace Arc, it has a big gate so they have to close the gates when people are in riot. What is really nice inside Centro Escolar University is most of the students are disciplined, they throw their litter and trashes in a trash bin but other students are like a child because they are doodling on the chairs, on the walls or somewhere, for short they are vandalizing some properties of the school. What is fun in Centro Escolar University is the students are friendly, you can talk to them nicely and they will talk to you back nicely. And the food is really delicious though it is kind of expensive. It is fun that they have a pool, I didn’t expect that we well use the pool on our physical education subject. I learned a lot of swimming skills from my P.E. professor. What is also fun in C.E.U. is their events held in the university, there are many school events in C.E.U., like the science and technology week where there are booths and there is a movie booth there. There are other events that cannot be attend by students because it is exclusive for a college, school or organization. But what is the most fun that I have experienced is that I have met my best friends in C.E.U. I don’t care if C.E.U. is not cool or whatever but It is really fun here at Centro Escolar University.
